Given:

A can type 30 words in 1 min

B can type 20 words in 1 min

To Find:

Number of words typed by both A and B in 1minute

Solution:

Number of words typed by A in 1min = 30 words

Number of words typed by A in 1 second = 30/60 = 1/2

Number of words typed by B in 1min = 20 words

Number of words typed by B in 1 second = 20/60 = 1/3

Number of words typed by both A and B in 1 second = 1/2 + 1/3 = 5/6

Number of words typed by both A and B in 1 minute = 5/6 × 60 = 50 words

Hence, Number of words typed by both A and B in 1 minute are 50 words.
