ANSWER= 60 days

A is 40℅ more efficient than B

efficiency of A:B = 140:100 = 7:5

B is 20℅ less efficient than C

efficiency of B:C = 80:100 = 4:5

hence,

efficiency of all =

A:B:C = 28:20:25

now, A takes 9 days less than C

hence..

28 - 25 = 3 unit = 9 days

so,

B takes 20× 9/3 = 60 days to complete the work.
