Let Candidate 1 And 2 be A and B Respectively,

A= 47500 votes

B defeated A by the margin of 5000 votes therefore,

B = Votes of A + 5000 = 52500 votes

Percentage of Votes Obtained by B =  \frac{Votes Obtained By B}{Total Votes}100

Therefore Percentage of Votes obtained by Winning candidate = 52.5%
