A candidate is required to answer 7 questions out of 12 questions which
are divided into two groups, each containing 6 questions. He is not
permitted to attempt more than 5 questions from either group. In how
many ways can he choose the 7 questions.

(1) 5 answers from 1st group and 2 from 2nd group
(2) 4 answers from 1st group and 3 from 2nd group
(3) 2 answers from 1st group and 5 from 2nd group
(4) 3 answers from 1st group and 4 from 2nd group
(5) 1 answer from 1st group and 6 from 2nd group
(6) 6 answers from 1st group and 1 from 2nd group
