Let the maximum marks be x.
A/q
 \frac{25}{100}x + 30 =  \frac{50}{100}x - 20 \\  \frac{25}{100} x -  \frac{50}{100} x =  - 20 - 30 \\  \frac{ - 25}{100}x =  - 50
x =   \frac{50 \times 100}{25}  \\  x = 200
Hence,the maximum marks required to pass exam is 200.
