A candle brought near a jar containing hydrogen gas starts burning and is extinguished when pushed inside the jar

A candle burns because if presence of Oxygen only, means in order to burn H we need O.


If it get extinguish when pushed inside the jar, only because oxygen gets finished to burn it.

hydrogen gas does not support combustion.
