Explanation:

Hello Dear.

Here is the answer---

→→→→→→→→→

Object Distance(u) = 3 cm (Negative)

Radius of the Curvature = 24 cm.

∴ Focal Length = R/2

= 24/2

= 12 cm (negative)

Using the Mirror's Formula,

 \frac{1}{f} = \frac{1}{v} + \frac{1}{u } \\ = - \frac{1}{12} = \frac{1}{v} - \frac{1}{3} \\ = \frac{1}{v} = - \frac{1}{12} + \frac{1}{3} \\ = \frac{1}{v} = \frac{1}{3} - \frac{1}{12} \\ = \frac{4 - 1}{12} = \frac{3}{12} = \frac{1}{4} \\ \\ \frac{1}{v} = \frac{1}{4 } \\ v = 4

 \frac{1}{v} = \frac{1}{4} \\ v = 4

⇒ v = 4 cm

∴ Distance of the Image from the Mirror is 4 cm (Positive).

Since, The Image Distance is positive, thus the Image is Real.

Hope it helps.
