When the capacitance is connected to dc source, it gets charged. The battery is now disconnected So no more charge can flow in, i.e., charged stored will stay constant. On removing dielectric, capacitance decreases . Energy stored =Q22C will increase, Pot, V=QC would increase E=Vd will increase.
