A capacitor is charged to potential V . The power supply is disconnected and the capacitor is connected in parallel to another uncharged capacitor. 1. Derive the expression for common potential of the combination of capacitors. 2. Show that the total energy of the combination is less than the sum of the energy stored in them before they are connected​
