A capacitor with air as the dielectric is charged to
a potential of 100 volts. If the space between the
plates is now filled with a dielectric of dielectric
constant 10, the potential difference between the
plates will be

Potential difference is inversely proportional to capactiance

and capacitance is directly proportional to dielectric constant

So if dielectric constant is increased from 1 to 10 that is10 times

So potential will decrease to 1/10 times

1/10. × 100 = 10 volts

c) 10 volts
