A car A is ahead of the car B by 500 m and is moving with velocity 16m/s where as car B is moving with 24m/s in the same direction.find the relative velocity of car B .with respect to A .also find in how much time can B over take A what is the distance travelled by A during this time

Answer:

Relative velocity B wrt A = V(b) - V(a)

24-16 = 8m/s and

Explanation:

The time taken = S/Vrelative = 500/8= 62.5 sec, we take velocity of one object zero that means the gap is constant so distance travelled will be 500 m only..for easy sum doing..

and the distance travelled by A will be = 16×62.5 = 1000m
