Answer:

The answer is 22.5 m/s

Explanation:

Initial momentum = Final momentum (p=mv)

m1 of car A = 1500 kg

v1 of car A = 25 m/s

m1 of car B = 1000kg

v1 of car B = 15 m/s

m2 of car A = 1500 kg

v2 of car A = 20 m/s

m2 of car B = 1000 kg

v2 of car B = x

1500 * 25 + 1000 * 15 = 1500 * 20 + 1000 * x

37500 + 15000 = 30000 + 1000x

52500 - 30000 = 1000x

22500 / 1000 = 22.5 m/s

I really hope this helped you!
