m1 = 1500kg

v1 = 25 m/s

m2 = 1000kg

v2 = 40 m/s

v3 = 20 m/s

v4 = ?

m1v1+m2v2 = m1v3+m2v4

(1500×25)+(1000×40) = (1500×20)+ 1000v4

(37500 + 4000) - 30000 = 1000v4

v4 = 11500/1000

v4 = 115/10

v4 = 11.5 m/s

attitudeboymani765: See question..dear..
DEVILPRIEST1097: oops
DEVILPRIEST1097: m1= 1500kg
m2=1000kg
u1=25m/s
u2=15m/s
v1=20m/s
v2=?

Formula

m1u1+m2u2= m1v1+m2+v2
1500*25+1000*15= 1500*20+1000*v2
37500+15000=30000+1000v2
52500=30000+1000v2
52500-3000=1000v2
22500=1000v2
22500/1000=v2
v2= 22.5m/s

Thus, velocity of car 'B' after collision is 22.5m/s.
attitudeboymani765: Bhai _m2=100kg..hai
