A car A of mass 2500 kg, travelling at 20 m/s collides with another car B of mass 1100kg
travelling at 25 m/s in the same direction. After collision, the velocity of car A becomes 10m/s.

Answer:
m1=2500kg
m2=1100kg
u1=20m/s
u2=25m/s
v1=10m/s
Let v2 =v2
Momentum of car A=Momentum of car B
m1u1+m2u2=m1v1+m2v2
{ (2500*20) +(1100*25) } ={(2500*10) +(1100*v2) }
(50000 + 27500) =(25000 + 1100v2)
77500 -25000 = 1100v2
v2=52500/1100
v2=47.72m/s
