answer

Step-by-step explanation:

Initial Velocity (u) = 5 m/s

Final Velocity (v) = 15 m/s

Time (t) = 7.5 seconds

To Find :

Distance (s) = ?

Solution :

First of all we will find the acceleration of

car:

→ Acceleration Final Velocity - Initial

Velocity Time

→ Acceleration = 15-5-7.5

→ Acceleration = 10 = 7.5

→ Acceleration = 1.3 m/s²

Now, by using Second equation of motion we can find distance travelled by

the car :

→s = ut + 2 at²

→s = 5 x 7.5 + 2× 1.3 × (7.5)²

s = 37.5+ 2 x 1.3 x 56.25

→s = 37.5 +1.3 × 28.125

s = 37.5+ 29.425

→s 66.925 m

Therefore, the distance travelled by the car is 66.925 m.
