A car accelarates uniformly from rest to a speed of 20 m/s in 8 secs. The mass of the car is 1200 kg.
a)Calculate the acceleration of the car.
b)i) Calculate the minimum force needed to produce the acceleration in Q.a)
ii) Explain why the engine must produce a larger force if this acceleration has to be achieved.

a=v-u/t
=20-0/8
=20/8m/s
2.force= m×a=20/8×1200
=20×150
=3000N
