GIVEN :-

Initial velocity (u) = 18kmph = 5mps

Final velocity (v) = 30kmph = 8.3 mps

Time taken (t) = 5 sec

TO FIND :- Acceleration (a)

SOLUTION :-

a =  \frac{(v - u)}{t}  \\  \\ =  \frac{8.3 -5 }{5}  \\  \\  =  \frac{3.3}{5}  \\  \\  =  \boxed{0.66}

DISTANCE (s) =

s = ut +  \frac{1}{2} a {t}^{2}  \\  \\  = 5 \times 5 +  \frac{1}{2}  \times 0.6 \times 5 \times 5 \\  \\  = 25 +  \frac{1}{2}  \times  \frac{6}{10}  \times 25 \\  \\  = 25 +  \frac{3}{2}  \times 5 \\  \\  = 25 +  \frac{15}{2}  \\  \\  = 25 + 7.5 = 32.5

The distance covered is 32.5m
