The total distance travelled is 54km/hr and its acceleration is 3.6m/s*s

  • Intial velocity (u) = 18 km/h

= 18*5/18 ms-1

= 5 ms-1.

  • Final velocity (v) = 36 km/h

= 36*5/18

= 10 ms-1

  • time= 5 seconds

Acceleration= v - u / t

Acceleration = 10-5/5

= 5/5 = 1 ms-2

Now

  • Distance = ut+1/2at^2

= 5*5 + 1/2*1*(5)^2

= 25 + 1/2*25

= 25+12.5

= 37.5 m
