Initial velocity of car (u) = 10km/hr

final velocity of car(v) = 40 km/hr

Time taken(t) = 1minutes = 1/60hr

Acceleration of the car(a) = v - u

t

= 40 -10

1/60

= 30 × 60 = 1800km/hr²

Now, using Equation v² = u²+2as

(40)²= (10)²+2×1800×s

1600-100 = 3600s

1500 = 3600s

s = 1500 = 5/12km

3600
