Initial velocity = 18km/h = 18 * 5/18 = 5m/s

Final velocity = 36km/h = 36 * 5/18 = 10m/s

Time taken = 5 sec

Acceleration = ( v - u ) / t

                     = 10 - 5 / 5 = 1m/s

Average speed = (18+36)/2

                         = 54/2 = 27m/s

Distance covered = speed * time

                             = 27 * 5 = 135m

Hope it helps!
