TO FIND

Magnitude of force in left direction= ?

Solution

$Force = Mass \times Acceleration$

Force = (1000 x 3) N

Force = 3000 N

3000 N force is acting from left direction.

Net force acting = f2 - f1

Net force acting = 3500-3000 = 500 N
