Given :-
- Initial velocity (u) = 5m/s
- Final velocity (v) = 13m/s
- Time taken (t) = 4.0m/s
To find :-
- Acceleration (a)
Solution :-
According to the first equation of motion
→ v = u + at
→ 13 = 5 + a*4
→ 13 - 5 = 4a
→ 8 = 4a
→ a = 8/4
→ a = 2m/s²
Hence,
- Acceleration of a car is 2m/s²
Extra Information
- s = ut + ½ at² (second equation of motion)
- v² = u² + 2as (third equation of motion)
- S.I unit of acceleration is m/s²
- S.I unit of time is second

☃ GIVEN :-
- Initial Velocity[u] = 5m/s
- Final Velocity[v] = 13m/s
- Time[t] = 4 seconds.
☃ TO FIND :-
- Acceleration[a].
☃ SOLUTION :-
We can use First Equation Of Motion.
Which is,
v = u + at.
So, Put the values.
➝ 13 = 5 + 4a.
➝ 4a = 13 - 5.
➝ 4a = 8.
➝ a = 8/4.
➝ a = 2.
Hence, Acceleration = 2m/s².
