A car accelerates from 6m/s to 16m/s in 10sec. Calculate :

(a) the acceleration, and

(b) the distance covered by the car in that time.​

Final velocity = v

v=16m/s

Time=t=10s

⋅Acceleration=a

a=(v−u)/t

=(16−6)/10

                      →→=1m/s  

2 .Distance=s

From the newton's second law,

s= 2a(v²-u²)  

​s=  (2×1) (256−36)

​ →→ =110m
