Answer:

By using the formula for acceleration = (v - u)/t = (16 - 8)/10 = 8/10= 0.8 m/s^2

Now we use the formula for displacement ( S ) = u*t + (a*t^2)/2

=8*10 + (0.8*10^2)/2

= 80 + 40 = 120 meters

u = 8 m/s

v = 16 m/s

t = 10 s

a=?

s=?

a = (v-u)/t =(16-8)/10 = 8/10 = 0.8m/s²

s = v²-u²/2a = (16²-8²)/(2×0.8) = 192/1.6

= 120m
