a car accelerates from rest at a constant rate A for some time after which it decelerates at a rate B and comes to rest .if the time elapsed is t then found the maximum velocity acquired by the car

final velocity= initial velocity+ acceleration×time
initial velocity = final velocity- acceleration×time
initial velocity=0-B×t
so answer= -Bt
