initial velocity u=18km/h=5m/s
final velocity v=36km/h=10m/s
time t =5sec
using Newton law of motion,
v=u+at
a=v-u/t
a=18-5/5
a=13/5
a=2.6m/s²

GiveN :-

  • Initial velocity = 18 km/h = 5 m/s

  • Final velocity = 36 km/h = 10 m/s

  • Time = 5 s

To FinD :-

  • Acceleration of the car

SolutioN :-

Acceleration of the car is :

  \large\longrightarrow  \boxed{ \red{\bf Acceleration =  \frac{v - u}{t}}} \\  \\ \longrightarrow \sf a =  \frac{10 - 5}{5} \\  \\ \longrightarrow \sf a =  \frac{5}{5} \\  \\ \longrightarrow \underline{\boxed{ \sf a = 1  \: {ms}^{ - 2}} }

 \large \therefore\: \underline{ \blue{ \bf Acceleration\: of \:car \: is\: 5\:{ms}^{ - 2}}}
