u = 18 km/h = 18×5/18 = 5 m/s
v = 36 km/h = 36×5/18 = 10 m/s
t = 5 seconds
(i) v = u+at
10 = 5 + 5a
5a = 10-5
5a = 5
a = 5/5
a = 1 m/s²
(ii) s = ut + 1/2at²
= 5×5 + 1/2×1×(5)²
= 25 + 1/2×25
= 25 + 12.5
= 37.5 m
