Acceleration = Change in Velocity / Time
Initial Velocity = 18 km/h = 5 m/s
Final Velocity = 36 km/h = 10m/s
Change in Velocity = 10m/s - 5m/s = 5m/s
Time Taken = 5 sec
Acceleration = (5m/s)/5 sec = 1 m/s2

ANSWER.....

Change 18 km/hr to m/s= 18 × 1000/60×60

18×5/18 =>5m/s

Change 36 km/hr to m/s= 36× 1000/60×60

36×5/18 =>10m/s

acceleration = 10-5/5

=>1m/s^2. Ans

(final acceleration-initial acceleration /time taken)
