Answer:

Given that,

u=18km/hr=18×5/18=5m/s

V=36km/hr=36×5/18=10m/s

Time, t =5 sec

From the first law of motion,

V=u+at

a=v-u/t

a=5/5=1m/s²

2) From the third law of motion,

V²-u²=2as

100-25=2s

2s=75

S=37.5m
