a car accelerates uniformly from 18 km/h to 36 km/h in 5 second . Calculate (i) the acceleration &. ii) the distance covered by the car in that time .

let's convert km/h to m/s

18 km/h = 5m/s

36km/h = 10m/s

i) acceleration = v-u /t = 10-5/5= 1m/s

ii)speed = distance /time

distance = speed *time

v=u+at
v = 18+1*5= 23

distance = 23/5 = 4.6 m
