initial velocity (u) = 18 km/h

= 18 * 5/18

= 5 m/s

final velocity (v) = 32 km/h

= 32 * 5/18

= 8.88 m/s

time taken (t) = 5 s

acceleration (a) = v-u/t

= 8.88 - 5/ 5

= 0.776 m/s^2.

distance travelled (s);

2 a s = v^2 - u^2

2 * 0.776 * s = 8.88^2 - 5^2

1.55 s = 78.55 - 25

s = 53.55 / 1.55

s = 34.54
