GIVEN :

• Initial velocity (u) = 18 km/hr = 18 × (5/18) m/s = 5 m/s

• Final velocity (v) = 36 km/hr = 36 × (5/18) m/s = 10 m/s

• Time = 5 min = 5 × 60 = 300 sec.

TO FIND :

Acceleration = ?

SOLUTION :

• We know that –

 \\ \bf  \implies \large{ \boxed{ \bf v = u + at}} \\

• Now put the values –

 \\  \bf  \implies 10 = 5 + a(300) \\

 \\ \bf  \implies 5 + a(300) = 10 \\

 \\ \bf  \implies a(300) = 10 - 5 \\

 \\ \bf  \implies a(300) = 5 \\

 \\ \bf  \implies a= \cancel \dfrac{5}{300} \\

 \\ \bf  \implies a= \dfrac{1}{60} \\

 \\\bf  \implies \large { \boxed{ \bf Acceleration= \dfrac{1}{60} \:\:\dfrac{m}{ {s}^{2}}}} \\

OTHER FORMULAS :

  \\  \:  \: \bf (2. )\:  \: \large s = ut + \dfrac{1}{2} a{t}^{2}  \:  \: \\

GIVEN

• Initial Velocity = 18km/hr = 5m/s

• Final Velocity = 36km/hr = 10m/s

• Time = 5 minutes.

TO FIND

• Acceleration Of Car.

SOLUTION

We know that,

a = v-u/t.

Here,

a = Acceleration,

v = Final Velocity,

u = Initial Velocity,

t = time.

So, We Can Apply this Formula to find the acceleration.

So,

➠ a = 10-5/5

➠ a = 5/5.

➠ a = 1 m/s²

Hence, Acceleration Of Car = 1m/s².
