Hola ^_^

Here is your answer

Given - Initial velocity = 18km/hr

We shall convert the unit km to m as the time is given in seconds
therefore
= 18×5/18
=5m/s

Final velocity= 36km/hr
=36×5/18
=10m/s

To find - acceleration

Calculation - Acceleration= v-u/t

v - u \div t
Therefore, v= 10m/s
u=5m/s

= 10-5/5
=5/5
1ms^{2}

Answer:

So, we can conclude that the buoyant force acts in the upward direction on an object immersed in a liquid as it acts opposite to the direction of weight of the object which always acts downwards due to gravity. The answer is: Buoyant force acts in the upward direction on an object immersed in a liquid.
