Explanation:

Here, initial velocity u = 20 Km/h = 50/9 m/s

and, final velocity v = 40 Km/h= 100/9 m/s

time period t = 5 s

as we know that,

v = u+ t

or, a = (v-u)/t

On putting above values of u,v,t,we get acceleration as a = 10/9 m/s↑2

after that, s = t+(1/2)×a× t↑2

In putting the values of u,t,a,we get displacement as s = 375/9 = 125/3 m
