initial velocity (u) = 36 km/h

= 36 * 5/18

= 10 m/s

final velocity (v) = 72 km/h

= 72 * 5/18

= 20 m/s

time taken (t) = 10 s

acceleration (a) = v-u/t

= 20 - 10/ 10

= 1m/s^2.

distance travelled (s);

2 a s = v^2 - u^2

2 * 1 * s = 20^2 - 10^2

2s = 400 - 100

s = 300/ 2

s = 150.
