• Final velocity (v) = 10 m/s
• Time interval (t) = 10 s

To FinD :

• Acceleration and displacement

SolutioN :

Use 1st equation of motion :

⇒v = u + at

⇒10 = 5 + a * 10

⇒10 - 5 = 10a

⇒10a = 5

⇒a = 5/10

⇒a = 0.5

∴ Acceleration of car is 0.5 m/s².

Now, use 3rd equation of motion :

⇒v² - u² = 2as

⇒10² - 5² = 2 * 0.5 * s

⇒100 - 25 = s

⇒s = 75

∴ Acceleration of car is 75 m.
