From the third equation of motion,
v^2-u^2=2as
7.1^2-0^2=2(35.4)a
50.41-0=70.8(a)
a=50.41/70.8
a=712m/s^2

Hope it helps you!

Answer:

v^{2}=u^{2} +2as

v=7.1ms^{-1} , u=0, s=35.4m

a=\frac{v^{2} }{2s} =\frac{7.1^{2} }{2*35.4} = 0.712ms^{-2}
