Given:

initial velocity of the car = 0 km/h (rest)

final velocity of the car = 72 Km/h

=\rm\frac{72 × 1000 m}{ 3600 s}

= 20m/s

time taken = 10s

i) Acceleration = final velocity - initial velocity/ time

=> \frac{20 - 0 m/s}{10s}

=> 2 m/s²

ii) Average velocity is same i.e 72m/s

ii) Distance = Velocity × time

=> 20m/s × 10s

=> 200 m

Explanation:

u = 0 ( at rest)

v = 72km/h = 20m/s

t = 10s

a = v - u/ t

a = 20-0/10

a = 2m/s²

average velocity = u+v/2

average velocity= 0+20/2

= 10m/s

s = ut+1/2at²

s = 0×10+1/2×2×10²

s = 0 +100

s = 100m
