final velocity=40km/h
in m/s=40×5/18=11.11m/s
intial velocity=0
time =30s
acceleration =v-u/t
=11.11-0/30
=11.11/30
=0.37m/s2

Answer:

The acceleration of the car is 0.37 m/s².

Explanation:

Given that,

Velocity of car = 40 km/h

Time t = 30 s

Using equation of motion

v = u+at

Where, v = final velocity

u = initial velocity

t = time

a = acceleration

Put the value of v and t in equation (I)

40=0+a\times30

a = \dfrac{40\times\dfrac{5}{18}}{30}

a = 0.37\ m/s^2

Hence, The acceleration of the car is 0.37 m/s².
