To find:-

(a) the acceleration

(b) the average speed

(c) the distance traveled in this time

Answer:-

u = 0km/h

v = 72km/h

t = 10s

→ v = u  + at

→ 72 km / h  = a ( 10 )s

→ 72 × 5 / 18 × 1 / 10  = a

→  a = 2m/s²

(a) so , the acceleration is 2m/s².

Now,

→  v² - u² = 2as

→ ( 72 × 5 / 18 ) =

→ 2 × 2 × 5

→ s = 1 /4 ( 400)  =

→  100m

→ vav = 100m/10s

→        = 10m/s  

(b) so, the average speed is 10m/s.

(c) so , the distance travelled in this time is :

→    s = 1/4 ( 400 )  = 100m

→     100m
