We are Given that ,


Initial velocity u = 0

Final velocity v= 72 km/hr

= 72 × 5/18. = 20 m/s.

Time t = 10 seconds

⏪Acceleration :

V= U + AT. [ first equation of motion ]

0 + 10 A = 20

A = 2ms-2 .


⏪distance travelled S =

S = Ut + 1/2 AT^2

[Second Equation of Motion ]

S = 1/2 × 2 × (10)^2

S = 100 m

⏪Average Velocity = 100/10

= 10 m/s
