as it starts and attain velocity of 15m/s

so its initial velocity is 0

u = 0m/s

v = 15m/s

t = 5s

by identity v = u + at

 a = v- u ÷ t

a = 15 - 0 ÷ 5

   = 3 m/s ^2

now by identity s = ut + 1/2 at^2

we find s = 0 × 5 + 1/2 × 3 × 5×5

s  = 37.5m
