Given:-

  • Initial Velocity = 18km/h → 5m/s

  • Final Velocity = 54km/h → 15m/s

  • Time Taken = 5s.

To Find:-

  • The Acceleration of car.

Formulae used:-

  • v = u + at

where,

  • v = Final Velocity
  • u = Initial Velocity
  • a = Acceleration
  • t = Time.

Now,

→ v = u + at

→ 15 = 5 + a × 5

→ 15 = 5 + 5a

→ 15 - 5 = 5a

→ 10 = 5a

→ a = 10/5

→ a = 2m/s²

Hence, The Acceleration of car is 2m/.

Answer:

acceleration = change is V / change on time

= (V-U )/t

= (15-5)/5

= 2 m per sec^2
