Heya!!

Thanks for asking the question!

Here is your answer :-

Given ,

u = 108 km/hr = 30m/s

v= 72 km/hr = 20m/s

s= 100m

a= ?

We can use third equation of motion to determine a since a is only unknown to us.

v^2=u^2+2as

Substituting the values:

(20)(20)=(30)(30)+2(a)(100)

400 = 900 + 200a

200a = -500

a = -500/200

a = -2.5m/s^2. (Ans)

Hope it helps you.
