A car can cover a distance of 300 km on 10 litres of petrol. How far can it travel on 12 litres of petrol ?

Distance covered by a car on 1 litre of petrol = 300/10 = 30 km

Hence, the distance covered by the car on 12 litres of petrol = 12 × 30 = 360 km
