Distance =Speed ×Time

Distance =48×10=480

.

.When speed is to be increased,time=8 hours

Speed=Distance /Time

Speed=480/8=60

Increase=60-48

=12km/hr

.

Hope it helps you.

Answer: 12

Step-by-step explanation:Given

1. Time-10 hrs

2.Speed-48 km/h

3.Distance- Speed x Time

=48km/h x 10hrs

=480km

Speed to cover 480km in 8hrs

Speed= Distance/Time

= 480km / 8hrs

= 60km/hr

Speed needed to increase 48 to 60 is 12=

48-60

=12

Thanks
