let the car cover 1st half in x hr

so, 2nd half in 11- x hr

distance = speed * time

distance in 1st half = distance in 2nd half

50 * x = 60 *(11- x)

50x = 660 - 60x

110x = 660

x = 6

total distance = distance in 1st half + 2nd

= 50 *6 + 60*5

= 350 + 350

= 700 km
