Speed in m/s :

Distance covered by car = 10 Km

Distance covered by car in metres = 10 * 1000 = 10000 metres (since 1 km = 1000 m)

Time taken = 5 minutes

Time taken in seconds = 5 * 60 = 300 seconds

Speed (m/s) = Distance covered/Time taken

= 10000/300

= 100/3 m/s

Speed in m/s = 33 1/3 m/s

Speed in cm/s :

Distance covered by car = 10 Km

Distance in centimetres = 10 * 100000 = 1000000 cm (1 Km = 1000000 cm)

Time taken in seconds = 5 * 60 = 300 seconds

Speed in cm/s = Distance covered/Time taken

= 1000000/300

= 10000/3

Speed in cm/s = 3333 1/3 cm/s

Therefore speed of the car are 33 1/3 m/s or 3333 1/3 cm/s in m/s and cm/s respectively.
