Solution:

Distance covered by first car = 360 km

Distance covered by second car = 240 km

Ratio between distance of cars = 360 km, 240 km

= 360 : 240 (÷ by 10)

= 36 : 24 (÷ by 6)

= 6 : 4 (÷ by 2)

= 3 : 2

Ratio between the distances of cars = 3 : 2 (ans)

Answer:

The time is same therefore we don't need to change value

so that

car 1 covered 360 km

car 2 covered 240 km

the ratio between the distances covered by both cars

distance covered by car 1 : distance covered by car 2

= 360:240

= 3:2
