A car covers 228 kilometre in 6 hour. How long will it take to cover 342 km with the same speed? How much distance will it cover in 11 hours?

Answer:

firstly find speed by using given distance and time

speed = distance / time

228/6 = 38 km / hour

use this speed to find time

38 = 342/time

time = 342/38 = 9 hours

distance in 11 hours

38 = distance / time

distance = 38 *11

distance = 418 km
